Most people who struggle to find success in life have one thing in common. Many people talk big, but don't act. Having big plans does nothing if you don't work at them.
Good planning ensures you’re constantly taking
action, not just continuing to plan. Effective goal planning means doing
your research, improving your skills, and taking action. Yes, planning is
great, but don't just think or dream about what you want to do. Just do it.
Note taking is a useful exercise
sometimes, as long as you then take action on those notes soon after. You can
keep learning all the time. Constant learning is good. But, understand that
some of the best learning you can have comes simply by doing. Just start to do what you set out to do, then
learn as you go.
Too many people get stuck at the
learning stage. They read plenty of books and articles, listen to related
podcasts and audiobooks, and watch related videos. But, effective learning
involves continuously taking action on what you've learned.
You must take action on what you are
learning to gain any momentum. Yes,
highly successful people never stop learning. The key is to never stop
doing, too.
Make a plan that you can
immediately start doing. Then, win or
lose, learn from the experience. Afterwards, make a new plan to take another
step forward. That's how you build momentum and work towards success!
